Myoskeletal Alignment Techniques (MAT) is a modality of massage therapy which aims to correct musculoskeletal imbalances, enhance posture, and alleviate pain. This technique combines elements of massage, osteopathy, and home retraining education to address dysfunction at its root. One of the primary benefits of MAT is the relief from chronic conditions like back pain, neck pain, or general joint pain and stiffness. By restoring proper alignment and function, MAT can also improve overall mobility and flexibility. Regular sessions help prevent injuries by reinforcing healthy movement patterns and strengthening supportive structures in the body. Additionally, many individuals experience enhanced mental well-being and reduced stress levels due to the holistic nature of the therapy, which promotes relaxation and body awareness. For athletes, MAT can enhance performance by optimizing muscle function and reducing the risk of strain. Overall, MAT provides a comprehensive approach to achieving and maintaining optimal physical health.

I’m Koby, the owner and therapist at The Table: Massage and Manual Therapy.  Over the past 7 years I have committed myself to the pursuit of learning highly effective soft tissue release systems and techniques to get you out of pain, keep you out of pain, and back to doing what you love.

I provide care to all levels of athletes, active individuals, and weekend warriors to prevent and care for your injuries and keep you performing your best. Being proficient in both treatment and assessment means that I can effectively address issues at their source, getting you back to life and sport faster. It also means that if there was a specific compensation pattern that led to the injury, or has resulted from the injury, I am able to address that compensation in addition to the injury itself making you more resilient against future injury down the road.

Although I am finished with my years of formal competition, I still like to push my body in training just for the thrill of it and understand how frustrating it is when something is preventing you from going all out. My goal for you is to alleviate chronic pain, facilitate faster healing of injuries and see you explore your full potential by keeping you moving, free of unhealthy, restrictive compensations and create an internal atmosphere in your physical body that can handle all the stress and strain you throw at it while doing the things you love.
